A typical tapered nylon leader is often stiff, making it difficult to fully straighten out, regardless of how much energy you put into your cast. This is especially true when you're fishing with small, light flies that have very little weight of their own.

The Conico comes in various lengths (6'5", 8', and 10'). All leaders feature a butt section starting at 0.57 mm and smoothly taper down to the tip where the tippet ring is located, measuring 0.235 mm (2X). Simply attach your preferred tippet material to the integrated ring.
