X-short DF Hooks

ULTIMATE SHORT SHANK DRY FLY HOOK

This hook has a shorter shank than those in the Ultimate Dry Fly Hook series. In other respects, it has exactly the same fine properties that provide better hooking ability, strength and sharpness at the tip. Designed for dry flies and emerges with extended foam bodies, a method commonly used in some J:Son fly patterns. Also works great for light nymphs with a split between front and back to create more movement in the back. Available in sizes 8-24.
