Our standard 9' monofilament leaders are great allround leaders that can be used for a variety of conditions and methods, Dries, Nymphs and Streamers etc. But on those days when the water is clear, the wind is gone and the surface is glossy you might want to take a look at our "Spring Creek" leaders.
They are sold in 2pcs per package so you got a backup, but more importantly they are 13,5' long, and will turn over your fly softly to any vary fish. The length of 13,5' will greatly add distance between the tip of your fly line and your fly, this will increase your chances of the fish focusing on your fly! rather than be bothered or put-off by seeing the tip of your fly line, as well as not being bothered too much about it landing on the surface.
The 13,5 Spring Creek leader is initially a bit trickier to cast! But take your time to learn it and you will be thankful to yourself for doing so.
