Specifically developed for coastal fly fishing. Cuts through harsh sea winds and punches out heavy shrimp, baitfish, and streamer patterns with ease.

Wind-Cutting Taper: Heavy butt section easily turns over bulky and weighted coastal flies even in strong headwind.
Abrasion Resistant: High knot strength and superior resistance against rocks, seaweed, and saltwater friction.
Low Visibility Finish: Clear monofilament material stays nearly invisible in coastal waters.
Pre-Looped Construction: Fast loop-to-loop connection gets you fishing quickly on cold coastal days.

Coastal sea trout fishing demands a specialized tapered leader. Between strong coastal winds, bulky shrimp patterns, and crystal-clear water, standard trout leaders fall short. The J:son Coastal Seatrout Leader features a stiff butt section to transfer maximum energy from your line, ensuring your fly punches out straight every single cast.
