The Klinkhammer is a famous dry fly and emerger pattern, known for its unique design that allows the body to hang just below the surface film while the parachute hackle and post float on top. This imitates a vulnerable insect "stuck in the shuck" as it emerges from its nymphal stage, a very tempting target for fish.
